Neurology opportunities Private single specialty group practice Northeast Ohio Practice Summary: • Single specialty private group neurology practice in Northeast Ohio that has developed a comprehensive outpatient Neuroscience Center network, serving a regional population of over 1 million people. • Coverage of 2 large 600+ bed hospitals, JHACO primary stroke centers, plus 4 regional community hospitals. • Current staff of 13 neurologists, 1 pulmonologist (sleep only), 4 neuropsychologists and 9 advanced practice nurses. • Specialty disease specific service lines, including MS Center, TIA Clinic, Headache Center, Brain Injury Program, Movement Disorders Center, Sleep Centers, with subspecialist neurologists and staff. • State-of-the art facilities including a brand new 25,000 sq. ft. main office, with five regional satellite offices in the growing suburban communities. • Full service Neuroscience Centers with ancillary services in house, including 1.5T MRI, outpatient sleep labs, neurodiagnostic testing labs, neuropsychology, speech therapy, infusion suite and clinical research department. • 100% physician owned, controlled and operated. Job Description: • A practice profile will be developed in cooperation with the candidate based on their training to fulfill their personal career interests and the needs of the group. • Outpatient, inpatient only and combination roles are available. On average 25%-33% inpatient work, remaining outpatient, unless hospital based neurologist. • All neurology residency candidates and subspecialty fellowships will be considered. • Specialty areas of need currently include Neuromuscular/EMG, Headache, Pain Management, Stroke, Neurocritical Care, Neuro Hospitalist, as well as general neurology. • Ability to practice a good mix of general neurology with focus on sub-specialty interests. • Various office location and hospital assignment options available. • On call rotated equally and currently 1 in 5 weekends, 1 night per week, on average. • Ability to participate in resident teaching and clinical research as interested.
