Recruiting Clinical psychologist for Hackensack Meridian Health in Neptune, NJ
The Neuroscience Program for the Southern Region of Hackensack Meridian is experiencing rapid growth and psychologists are an essential component of patient care delivery. Psychologists work alongside neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for individuals with complex neurological conditions. We are currently looking for a clinical psychologist who specializes in clinical or rehabilitative psychology to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a doctorate in clinical psychology with specialization in health psychology, behavioral, or rehabilitation psychology.
The candidate should have experience and expertise in providing behavioral medicine and rehabilitation psychology interventions in an outpatient setting to individuals with neurologic disorders that include stroke, cancer, brain injury, epilepsy, dementia, neuromuscular disorders, pain, and pseudotumor cerebri. The incumbent will be expected to work within interdisciplinary teams, supervise predoctoral students and postdoctoral fellows, assist in developing new programs, and collaborate on ongoing research. Development of an independently funded research program is supported but not required.

The have an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program and were the first in the region to have a state-designated Comprehensive Stroke Center. Neurology and Neurosurgery services include Center for Sleep Mdicine, Level 4 Epilepsy Center, Neuropyschology Department, Movement Disorders Center, Vascular and Endovascular Neuorsurgery, Headche Center, MS Center, Neuro-oncology, Neurological Rehab, Cranial Base Surgery and Spine Care.
