The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking full-time faculty in the following areas: Pediatric Neurology – Provide outpatient and inpatient care, call coverage, and mentorship to adult and pediatric neurology residents, fellows, and medical students. The 154-bed Children's Hospital of Georgia is the state’s second largest, with the highest level of pediatric and neonatal intensive care, a 24/7 emergency department, and comprehensive specialty services. It was recently ranked the nation’s top-performing children’s hospital in pediatric quality and safety. Movement Disorders – Seeking a fellowship-trained neurologist to join an established movement disorders program, including a comprehensive Parkinson's Disease Center of Excellence. Fellowship training in movement disorders required; a movement disorders fellowship is also offered. Cognitive Neurology – Join a collaborative faculty specializing in memory and cognitive disorders. Candidates should be dedicated to excellence in clinical care and teaching. Neuromuscular Neurology – Seeking a fellowship-trained neurologist to provide clinical care in the adult and ALS clinics, perform EMGs and neuromuscular ultrasound, lead clinical trials, and oversee resident training in neuromuscular procedures. Epileptology – Join a nationally recognized Level 4 Epilepsy Center with a legacy of epilepsy surgery and innovation since 1977. Two-year epilepsy fellowship preferred, but strong candidates with a one-year fellowship will be considered. Faculty benefit from a robust, subspecialty-focused clinical practice and are actively involved in teaching and mentorship. Participation in clinical research is strongly encouraged.
