Pediatric Neuropsychologist | Nemours Children's Hospital – Florida Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, in the Division of Neurology in Orlando, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our growing team. We are particularly interested in candidates with a passion for epilepsy and related neurological conditions. Position Overview: The Neuropsychologist will primarily focus on epilepsy surgical work-ups, including: Epilepsy presurgical evaluations Epilepsy post-surgical follow-ups Functional MRI testing Cortical mapping for brain function localization The remainder of the Neuropsychologist's time will be dedicated to working with patients experiencing epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, developmental delays, neuroimmunology issues, and other common neurological conditions. Our Program: We are actively developing an ambitious, multidisciplinary pediatric neurosciences program for Florida. Our epilepsy surgery program is rapidly expanding with an outstanding team including: 4 Epileptologists 1 Functional Neurosurgeon 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Experienced EEG Technologists and Nurses Our facilities feature a 6-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) equipped with ROSA (Robotic Stereotactic Assistance), with an expectation to evaluate approximately 50 phase 1 patients annually. Clinical and Inpatient Responsibilities: The Neuropsychologist will also support other clinical programs, including neuromuscular, neuroimmunology, and headache services. In addition to outpatient care, faculty will participate in the inpatient service rotation alongside adult neurology residents, pediatric residents, medical students, and APPs in the EMU.
