Neurosurgery Physician Assistant Career Opportunity in North Bergen, NJ Join Hackensack Meridian Health's Leading Neurosurgical Team I’m partnering with Hackensack Meridian Health to recruit a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join their well-established team at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity with an exceptional compensation package, ideal for candidates looking for positions in 2025. Please note, new graduates will not be considered for this position; surgical experience as a PA is required. Position Details: Schedule: 8-hour days, 5 days per week with flexibility on Fridays based on OR timing. Tuesday: Block surgery time, with potential for additional cases. Days may extend due to surgery or OR delays. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: Clinic days, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a lunch break. Friday: Flexible, adjusted if Tuesday exceeds 8 hours. Call Coverage: Shared with the attending, mostly phone-based during the week. One weekend per month for call, assisting with emergent surgeries and patient rounding in the hospital. The schedule is flexible to accommodate call responsibilities. Compensation: Competitive base salary, depending on experience. Additional call pay based on the candidate's flexibility and call availability. Preferred Experience: Neurosurgery experience preferred. Candidates with general surgery or orthopedic experience (especially in ortho spine) will also be considered. Sorry, no new graduates—surgical experience as a PA is required.
