Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is seeking fellowship-trained Interventional Gastroenterologists and Transplant Hepatologists for full-time clinical faculty positions in Charleston, West Virginia. Transplant Hepatologists are being recruited to help launch a new liver transplant program at CAMC.

You’ll have access to cutting-edge research facilities, a collaborative and supportive team, and an environment dedicated to clinical and academic excellence, where you will join faculty of 10 physicians and six APPs dedicated to the treatment of all aspects of gastroenterology.
Position Overview
As an Academic Interventional Gastroenterologist or Transplant Hepatologist at CAMC, you will:
• Provide high-level care in the field of advanced gastroenterology or liver transplantation.
• Perform a wide variety of interventional endoscopic procedures (for GI) or transplant-related procedures (for Hepatologists).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of academic and clinical professionals.
• Participate in research and academic activities through the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine.
• Engage in teaching within an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship, supported by the CAMC Life Support Training and Center for Innovation and Simulation Learning, featuring 7,500 square feet of high-fidelity simulation.
• Be part of an academic institution with 225 interns, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in robust didactics including a GI & Liver Tumor Board, CPC Radiology Conference, Journal Club, and hybrid lectures.
