Clinical Neuropsychology Faculty Opening – Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University
The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist to join their team as faculty at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The Epilepsy Program at MCG is a Level 4 Epilepsy Center, providing the highest level of medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy. Their experienced epilepsy specialists include pediatric and adult epileptologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neuropsychologists, and advanced practice providers, all working collaboratively to provide comprehensive care.
The selected candidate will provide neuropsychological assessments and consultations for primarily adult patients, with the option to see pediatric patients as well. The role has a particular focus on evaluating individuals with epilepsy and movement disorders who are candidates for surgical intervention. The position also includes academic time and opportunities for research collaboration and teaching residents and fellows in the assessment and treatment of cognitive disorders.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program, have completed an APA- or CPA-approved internship, and have the equivalent of two years of postdoctoral experience in neuropsychology.
