Recruiting Epileptologists – New Jersey A well-established private neurology group in New Jersey, affiliated with a major regional health system and academic medical center, is recruiting neurologists with fellowship training in epilepsy. The practice provides comprehensive care across multiple community locations and partners closely with a Level 4 Epilepsy Center for advanced cases and surgical management. Position 1: Medical Director – Epilepsy Program (Level 4 Center) Location: Ocean County, NJ Lead the development and growth of an advanced epilepsy program in partnership with a regional hospital and academic collaborators. 50/50 split between outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative care. Emphasis on surgical epilepsy and complex case management. Strategic opportunity to organize and expand a referral network across the region. Qualifications: Board-certified in Neurology. Fellowship-trained in Epilepsy Skilled in surgical epilepsy evaluation and care. 2+ years’ post-fellowship experience preferred (exceptional new graduates considered). Position 2: Epilepsy-Trained Neurologist – Community-Based Practice Location: Monmouth County, NJ Outpatient-focused neurology role within a community practice setting. Ideal for candidates with 1-year epilepsy or EEG fellowship training. Strong referral base and mentorship within an established practice. Direct affiliation with the hospital system for tertiary and surgical epilepsy support. Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible in Neurology. Fellowship-trained in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG track acceptable). Position 3: Pediatric Epileptologist / Pediatric Neurologist Location: Monmouth County, NJ (with planned expansion to Northern NJ – Essex/Hudson/Bergen Counties) Join a uniquely structured independent epilepsy and neurology practice featuring a 12-room in-house video EEG monitoring unit and a comprehensive “Epilepsy Medical Home” model of care. The practice currently includes one pediatric neurologist/epileptologist and maintains staff privileges at Monmouth Medical Center, which includes a pediatric residency program, pediatric ICU, and inpatient pediatric unit. Practice Highlights: Opportunity to help shape and expand a growing pediatric epilepsy/neurology program. Plans to develop a satellite office in northern New Jersey and expand regionally. Collaborative outpatient practice with no hospital call at present (telephone call rotation only). Long-term vision to expand inpatient epilepsy coverage as the program grows. Positions Available: Pediatric Epileptologist / Pediatric Neurologist (Junior Role): Ideal for new graduates or those within 1–2 years post-fellowship seeking strong mentorship and professional growth. Senior Pediatric Epileptologist / Division Lead: Ideal for an experienced attending with surgical epilepsy experience and leadership aspirations to head the pediatric epilepsy/neurology division. Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Neurology. Fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.
