St. Peter’s University Hospital is recruiting a Pediatric Neurologist with Epilepsy Fellowship training to join an established and collegial group of six pediatric neurologists. This is an excellent opportunity to practice within a highly collaborative, academically active environment and to contribute to the continued growth of an epilepsy program advancing toward Level IV accreditation.
Position Highlights
Mix of epilepsy and general pediatric neurology (approximately 50/50).
Level III Epilepsy Center with plans to achieve Level IV designation.
60-bed Level IV NICU—one of the largest and most advanced in the region—with a strong referral base for neonatal neurology.
Two pediatric functional neurosurgeons on staff; expansion to pediatric epilepsy surgery anticipated.
Immediate patient volume with strong referral patterns and a waiting list.
Open to new graduates or experienced candidates—collaboration and flexibility are key.
Opportunities for resident teaching and academic appointment through affiliated institutions.
Supportive, collegial department with manageable call responsibilities.
